Loan Recovery Support Unit Manager

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes existing branch office operations and determines areas for improvement in policies and strategies of credit and collection.
  • Plan and Schedule Monthly work plan and target with discussion and approval from the Head of Recovery and Litigation Department.
  • Plan, Manage and follow up the PAR and loan written off for the whole LOLC.
  • Ensures that overall targets and commitments of all branch offices will achieve the desired level of loan recovery collection.
  • Reviews, consolidates, prepares and recommends to Head of Recovery and Litigation Department the Annual Work and Financial Plan/Budget of the Loan Recovery team.
  • In consultation with the Loan Recovery Officer, initiates data-gathering or conducts other investigative method to determine the possible causes of problem internal to LOLC and/or external with the clients/villages/local authority.
  • Control and monitor the cause of the problems and recommend to Branch Management and Loan Recovery Officer for further prevention actions in operational areas.
  • Submit report to Head of Recovery and Litigation Department for action/approval.
  • Assists in providing and consulting technical solutions to Loan Recovery Officer to deal with problems loan while requested.
  • Conducts field visit/verification/meetings with Branch Manager, Loan Recovery Officer (LRO) and clients as part of his/her regular visit to get first-hand information from them and to be able to provide appropriate feedback and recommendation to improve performance of PAR and loan Write-Off Collection.
  • Assists in monitoring of PAR and loan Write-Off Collection performance of branch offices and implements strategic interventions to help low-performing branch offices.
  • Assist to evaluates branch performance at the end of the year based on the attainment of committed goals and targets.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Head of Recovery and Litigation Department.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Marketing, Finance and Banking, Management or equivalence.
  • Minimum of 03-year field experiences in loan recoveries.
  • High ability to persuade others to change their minds or behavior.
  • Strong ability to recognize other’s reaction and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Strong communication skills (able to speak and write Khmer and English).
  • Strong ability to recognize other’s reaction and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, planning and management skills.
