following position:
Mobile Development Officer
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Ensure responsive design and smooth performance across devices and screen sizes.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure app stability and performance.
- Deploy applications to App Store and Google Play, ensuring compliance with store guidelines.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure smooth integration of mobile applications with server-side logic.
- Work with QA teams to resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and Flutter ecosystem.
- Recommend improvements for architecture, frameworks, and tools to optimize development processes.
- Monitor app performance and ensure responsiveness, usability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Integrate third-party APIs, SDKs, and tools.
- Document development processes, architecture, and technical specifications.
- Apply OWASP (Open Worldwide Application Security Project) Top 10 principles in all stages of software development, with emphasis on input validation, authentication, and access control.
- Ensure secure and efficient data synchronization between mobile applications and backend systems.
- Evaluate and recommend system improvements focused on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support and handle tasks assigned by management, including urgent security patching and audit preparedness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional mobile development experience (Flutter-focused).
- Solid experience in Dart programming language.
- Experience with state management solutions (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, GetX, etc.).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile databases (SQLite, Hive, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and mobile security standards.
- Strong knowledge of Flutter and Dart.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics).
- Experience with app performance optimization and security best practices.
- Experience with mobile app deployment (Google Play Store, Apple App Store).
- Familiarity with UX/UI design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Proficiency in modern mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture, with the ability to apply them effectively for scalable and maintainable application design.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across units.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Experience in the banking or microfinance sector is preferred.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
