LOLC Introduces the Fast Financial Solution, “Prosperity Gold Loan” to Kampot Provincial Branch.

Kampot Province, April 9, 2026: In response to the growing financial needs of customers, LOLC Cambodia Microfinance Institution has officially launched “Prosperity Gold Loan” product at Kampot provincial branch, located in Kampong Bay Khang Cheung village, Sangkat Kampong Bay, Kampot City, Kampot Province. This initiative aims to provide residents with fast, secure, and reliable financial solutions.

The launch event was presided over by Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC Cambodia, and was attended by management, staff, and a wide range of customers who gathered to celebrate and learn about the benefits of this new product in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The “Prosperity Gold Loan” enables customers to use their gold assets as collateral to access urgent cash without the need to sell their valuable assets. With simple process and fast approval, customers can receive their loans in approximately 15 minutes. The product is designed to meet the urgent financial needs of a wide range of customers, especially business owners and community members seeking working capital or funds for business growth and seasonal activities.

With a high-standard security system, LOLC Cambodia ensures that customers’ gold assets are stored safely and managed under strict controls, enhancing trust and providing customers with peace of mind when using the service.

On this occasion, Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC Cambodia, stated: “The expansion of the ‘Prosperity Gold Loan’ to Kampot Province marks an important step in delivering formal financial services that are both accessible and highly reliable to a broader customer base. LOLC Cambodia will continue to expand this product to other branches nationwide in the future to better meet the evolving needs of our customers.” To be eligible for the loan, customers must be aged between 18 and 65 years old and own a valid Cambodian national identification card or passport. Eligible gold collateral includes gold bars, gold coins, and other gold items with a purity ranging from 6.7 to 10 (equivalent to 16 to 24 karats). Each gold item must have a minimum weight of 1 chi (3.75 grams).
