Phnom Penh, July 28, 2026: Merchants using LOLC KHQR across the country now have greater opportunities to attract and serve Indian tourists by accepting payments from mobile banking applications that use the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), one of the most popular digital payment systems in India, through LOLC KHQR.
With more than 20,000 LOLC KHQR merchant locations nationwide, this new payment capability will help merchants welcome international customers more easily, increase sales opportunities, and provide a fast, secure, and cashless payment experience.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Tourism, more than 77,000 Indian tourists visited Cambodia in 2025.
