"LOLC Prosperity Gold Loan" Now Available at Khan Prampir Meakkakra Branch, Veal Vong Commune, Ready to Provide Customers with Urgent Cash Solutions by Accepting Gold or Platinum Assets as Loan Collateral
Phnom Penh, June 17, 2026: With the aim of expanding the reach of financial services and bringing them closer to customers, LOLC Cambodia has officially launched the "Prosperity Gold Loan" product at Khan Prampir Meakkakra-Veal Vong Branch. The product is designed to provide the public with a fast, secure, and convenient cash solution by accepting gold or platinum assets as collateral for loan applications, effective from June 17, 2026, onwards.
According to Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC Cambodia: "Customers can use their gold or platinum assets as collateral when applying for a loan, with loan terms of up to six months, depending on their financing needs. The product also offers a range of special benefits, including reasonable interest rates, fast access to cash, reliability, and a high level of security for customers' pledged gold."
He added that this is the sixth branch that LOLC has launched for the “Prosperity Gold Loan” product. The operating locations include: the Head Office, Mean Chey District Branch, Bati District Branch, Trapeang Sab Commnue, Kampot Provincial Branch, Kandal Provincial Branch, and Khan Prampir Meakkakra Branch, Veal Vong Commune, with four additional branches expected to be launched soon.
The “Prosperity Gold Loan” is designed to respond to urgent financial needs in daily life, whether for expanding a business, paying children’s school fees, or covering unexpected medical expenses. Customers can quickly access without having to sell their accumulated assets by using gold or platinum items as collateral. A key feature that makes this product stand out is its simplicity and speed in loan processing, providing customers with immediate cash disbursement within just 15 minutes.
To apply for the “Prosperity Gold Loan,” eligible customers must be aged between 18 and 65 years old and must hold a valid Cambodian identity card or Passport. Acceptable forms of gold collateral include gold bars, gold coins, or other gold items with a purity level ranging from 6.7 to 10 karats (16K to 24K). Each item must have a minimum weight of 1 chi (3.75 grams).
