LOLC Continues Expanding “Prosperity Gold Loan” to Tuol Kouk District Branch, the Last Branch in Phnom Penh!
Phnom Penh, 17 July 2026: In order to provide convenient financial services and better respond to the broader needs of customers, LOLC has launched the “Prosperity Gold Loan” at Tuol Kouk District Branch, the last branch in Phnom Penh to offer this service. The launch took place on 17 July 2026 at the branch located at #101A3 &101A, Street 289, Phum 1 Village, Sankgkat Boeng Kak Ti Muoy, Khan Tuol Kouk, Phnom Penh.
This launch marks the completion of the expansion of the “Prosperity Gold Loan” service across all LOLC branches in Phnom Penh, enabling customers to access this financial solution more conveniently and closer to their locations.
The launching ceremony of “Prosperity Gold Loan” at the Tuol Kouk District Branch was successfully held under the presidency of Mr. Brindley De Zylva, Chairman of LOLC and Mr. Romesh Perera, Chief Channel Officer, along with LOLC’s management, staff, and customers.
In addition to the official launch announcement, participants also gained further insights into the financial solutions and benefits offered by this product, which has been expanded across all LOLC branches in Phnom Penh and will continue to be extended to branches in provinces nationwide.
Mr. Romesh Perera, Chief Channel Officer, stated: “We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our customers in Phnom Penh and across the provinces for their trust and continued support of the “Prosperity Gold Loan” product, from the initial launch at the first branch through to the 10th branch at the Tuol Kouk District Branch, which is also the last branch in Phnom Penh to offer this service.
We are proud to be part of our customers’ financial journey by providing solutions that address their financial needs through quick cash solutions available within just 15 minutes, without requiring them to sell their gold assets. Customers can also benefit from reasonable interest rates while ensuring their valuable assets are securely preserved.
In the near future, we will continue expanding this service to LOLC branches nationwide, allowing more customers across all communities to access and benefit from this product.”
To apply for the “Prosperity Gold Loan,” eligible customers must be aged between 18 and 65 years old and must hold a valid Cambodian identity card or Passport. Acceptable forms of gold collateral include gold bars, gold coins, or other gold items with a purity level ranging from 6.7 to 10 karats (16K to 24K). Each item must have a minimum weight of 1 chi (3.75 grams).
