LOLC Donates “NoDrug” QR Code Stickers to Support Anti-Drug Awareness During Khmer New Year 2025

Phnom Penh, April 8, 2025: LOLC (Cambodia) Plc., one of the leading microfinance institutions in Cambodia, has donated 1,200 NoDrug App QR Code stickers to the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) at LOLC Cambodia’s Head Office. This initiative supports anti-drug awareness efforts during the upcoming Khmer New Year celebration.

The handover was attended by Lieutenant General Lim Tong Huot, Director of the Education and Public Relations Department at NACD, and Mr. Sok Voeun, CEO of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc.

On behalf of H.E. General Meas Virith, Secretary-General of the NACD, Lieutenant General Lim Tong Huot expressed appreciation for LOLC’s ongoing contribution to drug prevention awareness. The QR Code stickers will be placed on Phnom Penh city buses operated by the Phnom Penh Capital Administration. The goal is to encourage the public to scan the codes to download the NoDrug App, which offers educational content and enables users to report drug-related issues in their communities for timely action.

Mr. Sok Voeun, CEO of LOLC (Cambodia), expressed his support for NACD’s mission and reaffirmed LOLC’s commitment to raising drug awareness at both national and local levels. The initiative aims to educate the public, especially youth, about the dangers of drugs and reduce the risk of drug involvement in communities.
