LOLC cooperates with the National Authority for Combating Drugs to disseminate information on the dangers of drugs to people at the 10th Sea Festival in Kep Province

Kep Province, 01st-03rd December 2023. LOLC cooperates with the National Authority for Combating Drugs to disseminate information on the dangers of drugs to the people at the Sea Festival 10th in Kep province. The campaign aims to raise awareness through the distribution of free drug leaflets, and there are some materials disseminated through the exhibition, including pictures of drug side effects, a warning message banner, a drug danger awareness book, and other souvenirs, including hats, calendars, umbrellas, and mugs, for distribution and dissemination to family, friends, and beloved people not to fall into the trap of drugs.

Mr. Sok Voeun, chief executive officer of LOLC (Cambodia) stated that engaging in social work is a significant task that we accomplished together in the past. This work has included drug prevention, traffic safety education, school hygiene awareness, and some materials to support social work as well.

At the same time, Mr. Meas Virith, secretary-general of the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD), thanked the Ministry of Tourism and LOLC for their close partnership with World Travel Company 2world and World Pop, which support the promotion of education, which is a multi-sectoral work that requires the support of all people and the private sector to work together to fight drugs for peace and development for citizens for the future of our children.

It should also be noted that LOLC often cooperates with the National Authority for Combating Drugs by providing leaflets and information on drug issues, reflecting LOLC's commitment to continue to participate in the fight against drugs as well as further promoting the social progress of Cambodia as a whole.
