LOLC Launches Public Financial Literacy Campaign Through Lorry Truck
As the old saying goes, “A big boat needs a big sail.” This phrase truly reflects the business of Mrs. Pan Nalin, the owner of a rubber plantation and a durian contractor in Memot district, Tboung Khmum province. The saying perfectly fits her situation, as the larger the business grows, the greater the need for capital to manage it sustainably and successfully.
It is worth noting that Mrs. Nalin has been a client of LOLC Cambodia since 2014. She used her first three loan cycles to expand her business as a durian contractor and to maintain her rubber plantation. Later, in 2019, she took her fourth loan from LOLC Cambodia and continued accessing further financing to support her business expansion. The funds were used for her durian contracting activities, harvesting and selling durians to middle traders and customers within the community, while also maintaining stability and ensuring smooth business operations.
After receiving financial support from LOLC Cambodia for business expansion, Mrs. Nalin observed rapid growth in her operations. Her income increased significantly, allowing her to build a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable home for her family to live happily together.
Mrs. Pan Nalin strongly believes that the financial support from LOLC Cambodia has been an essential source of capital that contributed greatly to her business expansion and improved her family’s living conditions. Furthermore, she and her husband are planning to take another loan soon to purchase additional land for growing more durian trees.
