LOLC Cambodia Joins the Delegation Led by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, to Visit and Provide Financial Support to injured Soldiers and Families of Fallen Soldiers
In a spirit of solidarity and encouragement for the frontline forces defending the integrity of the territory during the Cambodia-Thai border conflict, the management of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc., a leading microfinance institution, accompanied H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), to visit and provide financial support to injured soldiers and families of fallen soldiers in Kampong Thom and Siem Reap provinces on August 10, 2025.
The visit and financial support for the injured soldiers and their families was attended by Mr. Sok Voeun, CEO of LOLC Cambodia accompanied H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), as well as the board of directors of the Cambodia Banking Association, and many other banking and microfinance institutions. The visit also brought with funds, rice, and essential food supplies to support the well-being of injured soldiers and the families of those who had sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation.
As part of this compassionate initiative, LOLC Cambodia also launched a special fundraising campaign to support and boost the morale of the heroic Cambodian frontline forces. The company delivered food supplies, essential materials, and financial contributions directly to soldiers stationed along the border areas in recent days.
In addition, LOLC Cambodia has implemented the directive of the National Bank of Cambodia to completely cancel debts to soldiers who were borrowers or co-borrowers in direct combat operations during the recent Cambodian Thai border conflict.
