LOLC Cambodia receives Excellence in Data Quality award from CBC

LOLC (Cambodia) Plc – one of the leading deposit-taking microfinance institutions in the Kingdom – has been recognised as an Excellence in Data Quality Institution by the Credit Bureau Cambodia (CBC). CBC is the leading provider of financial information, analytical solutions and credit reporting services to financial institutions and consumers in the Kingdom. LOLC Cambodia CEO Sok Voeun hailed the award as "further recognition in addition to our many achievements in the past".

"This is significant proof that LOLC Cambodia's strategic plan and its implementation are being properly and efficiently executed in promoting business activities and responding to the needs of customers, as well as contributing to economic growth in the Kingdom. "At LOLC Cambodia, we constantly strive to achieve our vision of being the most trusted provider of inclusive financial services in Cambodia," Voeun said.

As of the second quarter of this year, LOLC Cambodia had total assets of more than $1,428 million, a total loan portfolio of $1,210 million, a total deposit balance of $736 million and more than 500,000 customers nationwide, he added.

LOLC Cambodia has also received the Consumer Protection Policy Certificate from the Smart Campaign and the Gold Consumer Protection Certificate from Cerise and SPTF.
