LOLC Cambodia Supports Local Business Expansion Through Accessible Financing

What began as a small part-time job has grown into a successful business journey for Mr. Choeng Chan. Driven by his desire to build a better future, he decided to step into entrepreneurship and open a multi-service business in Chong Samnay village, Chrey commune, Moung Ruessei district. Today, his business offers educational and office supplies, photocopying, photography and wedding invitation printing services to the local community.

Like many small business owners, Mr. Chan faced challenges at the beginning, especially in securing enough capital to grow. To overcome this, he chose LOLC Cambodia as his financial partner to support his business plans.

His first loan of $3,000 helped him purchase a printer, which allowed him to start his wedding invitation printing service. The service quickly gained popularity, encouraging him to expand further. He later received a second loan of $14,000 to increase his stock of educational and office supplies to meet growing customer demand.

Seeing strong business progress, Mr. Chan took another step forward by obtaining a third loan of $16,600. This enabled him to open an additional shop and strengthen his presence in the local market.

Today, his business continues to grow steadily, supported by loyal customers and consistent demand. Mr. Chan’s success story reflects how access to the right financial support can help entrepreneurs expand their businesses, increase income, and improve their families’ lives.

His journey stands as a strong example of how determination, combined with reliable financial support, can turn small ideas into lasting success.
