LOLC Sponsors ASEAN Savings Day 2025 to Promote Awareness on the Importance of Saving

Kampot Province, October 31, 2025: : LOLC (Cambodia) Plc., one of the leading deposit-taking microfinance institutions in Cambodia, proudly sponsored the ASEAN Savings Day 2025 under the theme “Save Smart, Save with Love”, held in Kampot provincial town. The event was organized with the objective of raising public awareness on the importance of saving, in line with the efforts of the ASEAN member states to promote financial inclusion in ASEAN region and countries.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC (Cambodia) Plc., along with distinguished guests including senior representatives from the Kampot Provincial Administration, the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, the Association of Banks in Cambodia, the Cambodia Microfinance Association, and representatives from various banks and financial institutions in the country.

The program also featured a student presentation competition under the theme “Save Smart, Save with Love”, offering young participants the opportunity to share their knowledge and deepen their understanding of financial literacy—particularly the value and importance of saving.

LOLC (Cambodia) Plc. is delighted and honored to have joined hands with the National Bank of Cambodia in promoting financial literacy among the Cambodian people.

It is worth noting that, in support of Cambodia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen financial inclusion, LOLC has been actively contributing to this initiative by conducting financial literacy education programs within communities and public spaces through its Lorry truck.
