LOLC Cambodia Continues to Support the Agricultural Sector Through the Launch of the “Agri-Input Loan” in Battambang Province

Battambang Province, May 22, 2026: LOLC Cambodia officially launched new product, the “Agri-Input Loan” in Phum Pou 1 village, Kear commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province.

The event was held under the presidency of Mr. Sok Voeun, Chief Executive Officer of LOLC Cambodia, and was attended by local authorities, agricultural input supply partners, and approximately 250 farmers from Kear, Ta las, Chrey, Robas Mongkol, and Moung communes in Battambang province.

The Agri-Input Loan was established to help agricultural input suppliers receive payments in a convenient, secure, and efficient, while enabling farmers to access credit for the purchase of agricultural inputs.

This product also supports farmers in obtaining essential inputs for cultivation, such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, fuel, and other farming materials, from suppliers who are partners of LOLC Cambodia in a timely and reliable manner. It does not require collateral, and repayment of both principal and interest can be made at the end of the credit cycle, aligning with farmers’ harvest income cycle.
