Specifically, LOLC Cambodia (Bati branch) took part in organizing the installation of floor tiles in the courtyard of Hang Ngo Smao Khnhey Primary located in Smao Khnhey Village, Trapeang Sap Commune, Bati District, Takeo Province. This meaningful community event took place on April 5, 2025. The event was attended by the branch manager and staff of LOLC Cambodia (Bati Branch), along with the school principal, teachers, local authorities, and students' parents. The primary objective was to enhance the school's aesthetics and create a more engaging learning environment for students. From March 31 to April 4, 2025, the Sustainability Management Team of LOLC (Cambodia) provided Financial Education Awareness training on “Debt Management” to communities in its operational areas. A total of 14 training sessions were conducted, with 205 participants in total, including 153 women, across 14 different villages as detailed below: 1. Key activities of the event included: filling the school yard with soil to create a safer and better environment, distributing essential study materials to support students’ education, donating benches to enhance the school’s facilities and overall appearance. This event took place on the morning of November 23, 2024, and was a resounding success thanks to the teamwork and unity of the LOLC Cambodia staff, as well as the warm welcome from the school principal, teachers, and students. On October 26, 2024, the Kampong Trach branch organized a community event aimed at promoting education and improving the environment. In this event, we provided benches and office supplies for teachers, as well as distributed school supplies to students. The staff from the Kampong Trach branch also brought several trees and planted them within the school grounds to provide shade and enhance the environment for students as the trees grow. This community event took place at Kaoh Tromung primary school, located in Kaoh Tromung Village, Boeng Sala Khang Cheung Commune, Kampong Trach District, Kampot Province. Financial literacy is extremely important for everyone
Financial literacy is extremely important for everyone, as it is an essential life skill that plays a crucial role in making financial decisions in daily life. To promote awareness of this vital knowledge, LOLC Cambodia reached out to its customers in their communities to provide practical training sessions focused primarily on loan management. These sessions aim to help participants understand how to use loans correctly and responsibly. Obviously, from December 2 to December 6, 2024, the LOLC Cambodia team conducted a total of 14 training sessions for its clients, which also included participation from the public. The sessions were attended by a total of 218 participants, including 166 women. These training sessions were conducted in various villages as detailed below: 1. For the year 2024, the sustainability management team of LOLC Cambodia has provided a total of 318 financial education awareness training to clients and other participants, with a total of 6,264 attendees, including 4625 women. These training sessions were conducted in various villages and communes within branch operational areas across all 25 provinces and cities in Cambodia. This remarkable achievement demonstrates that LOLC Cambodia consistently prioritizes and actively contributes to promoting financial education awareness among its customers as well as the public. By raising awareness and equipping them with essential financial knowledge, LOLC Cambodia enables individuals to apply this knowledge to their daily lives. Notably, after completing the training sessions, participants expressed great satisfaction and a strong interest in having more similar training programs in the future. In response to this positive feedback, LOLC Cambodia plans to continue delivering financial education awareness training to communities in the coming year, introducing new and beneficial lessons related to financial education awareness, including environmental knowledge, to its clients and other villagers in the community. -

Community Event of Baray District Branch
On August 10th, 2024, the Baray District Branch of LOLC Cambodia conducted a donation event at Kampong Thmor High School, located in Thun Mong village, Kampong Thmor commune, Kampong Thom province. Our staff, driven by a spirit of community and support, generously donated essential study materials, including books, pens, and notebooks, as well as benches, ream paper and rubbish bins as well. These activities demonstrate a significant contribution to advancing educational development.
