On December 20, 2025, LOLC Cambodia (7 Makara–Boeng Prolit Branch) organized a community event at Prek Reang Primary School in Chraoy Chongvar District, Phnom Penh, where essential learning materials were donated to students. This support has helped motivate children to study diligently and develop their abilities. LOLC Cambodia firmly believes that supporting education today lays a strong foundation for nurturing a new generation with knowledge, discipline, and a sense of responsibility, contributing to the sustainable development of society. -

At the beginning of 2026, in January, the LOLC Cambodia team actively organized a series of training sessions that attracted strong interest from participants under the theme “Understanding Debt and Debt Management.” Through these training sessions, participants gained essential knowledge on the proper use of loans and effective loan management. Below are some images from a total of 64 training sessions conducted from 5 to 30 January 2026, with a total of 1,260 participants, of whom 809 were women, across various regions as outlined below. 1. LOLC Cambodia remains committed to continuously promoting environmental conservation and social activities. As part of this commitment, LOLC Cambodia (Bavel Branch) organized a tree-planting activity within the compound of Chroy Sna Primary School, located in Chroy Sna Village, Khnach Romeas Commune, Bavel District, Battambang Province. In addition, the Bavel Branch also donated crushed stone, swings, and benches to enhance the school’s aesthetics and create a more conducive learning environment. This community event took place on 21 February 2026. Through this meaningful activity, an important message was conveyed to students about the benefits of planting trees and their significant value to the environment. LOLC Cambodia hopes that the activities carried out today will serve as a good example for the younger generation to follow, encouraging everyone to take part in protecting and preserving our environment. -

The Financial Education Awareness program is a key component in promoting financial inclusion at LOLC Cambodia. Through its strong commitment, LOLC Cambodia has initiated new programs and campaigns to further expand the dissemination of this valuable knowledge to a wider audience. Recently, a Financial Education Awareness training by Lorry was launched to complement and support the Financial Education Awareness training to community. From 9 to 13 February 2026, the LOLC Cambodia team conducted the Financial Education Awareness training by Lorry across 8 locations, with a total of 166 direct participants, including 116 women, across various areas, including: 1. Krang Ponley village, Kiri Voan commune, Phnum Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province. 2. Tuol Village, Moha Sang commune, Phnum Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province. 3. Taking their valuable time, 1,134 clients and villagers, including 790 women, voluntarily participated in a Financial Education Awareness training under the topic “Understanding Debt and Debt Management,” organized by LOLC Cambodia from February 2 to February 27, 2026. Through this training, participants gained essential knowledge, including how to assess their personal debt situation, calculate repayment capacity, and apply proper and effective loan management methods. Below are some photos from the 65 training sessions conducted across 15 districts in 6 provinces including Ratanak Kiri, Kampong Chhnang, Stung Treng, Tboung Khmum, and Svay Rieng. -

Promoting the education sector is an important contribution to human resource development and to advancing the progress of the nation. On February 21, 2026, LOLC Cambodia (Kien Svay District Branch) was pleased to support the education of students at Tuol Sophi Primary School, located in Sdau Kanlaeng 5 Village, Dei Edth Commune, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province. The branch provided school bags and essential learning materials to encourage the students to study hard, serving as a bridge toward a brighter future. In addition, LOLC Cambodia (Kien Svay District Branch) also donated several trash bins to the school to help students properly dispose of waste, contributing to the promotion of a clean and healthy environment within the school premises. -

Why do we need Financial Education Awareness?
Financial Education Awareness is an essential life skill that everyone should have to manage their finances effectively, improve their quality of life, and achieve continuous growth. Therefore, to contribute to building stronger communities, LOLC Cambodia continues to promote and expand Financial Education Awareness more widely. From 17 to 21 November 2025, LOLC Cambodia organized a Financial Education Awareness training under the topic “Debt Management,” which provides practical knowledge for daily life. The training volunteer to participate from LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers, with a total of 358 participants (260 women) across the following rural areas: 1. Stoung District, Kampong Thom Province. 2. Prasat Ballangk District, Kampong Thom Province. 3. Ta Veaeng District, Ratanakiri Province. 4. Koun Mom District, Ratanakiri Province. 5. This meaningful activity was organized with the aim of encouraging students to study diligently, promoting a broader reading culture, and enhancing hygiene and environmental awareness within the school premises. Key activities of this community event included the provision of benches for students to sit and relax during break times, as well as the repair of the national flagpole, which had deteriorated over time, to restore its strength and appearance for the daily morning flag-raising ceremony. Teachers and students alike expressed great happiness and sincere appreciation for this meaningful support. Indeed! Financial literacy is extremely important for everyone. LOLC Cambodia, a financial institution that consistently demonstrates strong social responsibility, continues to promote financial literacy by providing knowledge on “Debt Management” to its customers and villagers. In this effort, the LOLC Cambodia team conducted a total of 14 training sessions from 15 to 19 December 2025, with a total of 184 participants, including 121 women, across the following areas: 1. District Tboung Khmum, Province Tboung Khmum These training sessions equipped participants with essential basic knowledge on the proper use of loans and ways to avoid falling into over-indebtedness, as part of LOLC Cambodia’s commitment to responsible lending practices. -
