  • LOLC Cambodia signed an agreement with Ecobatt-Energry Cambodia to collaborate in collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment

    On January 3, 2024, LOLC Cambodia signed an agreement with Ecobatt-Energry Cambodia to collaborate in collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment that adversely affects the environment and human health, the agreement focuses on two main activities: 1. Collecting battery from staff and clients through battery recycle bin in which is placed at the Operating Office of LOLC (Cambodia). 2. Collecting waste of electrical and electronic equipment (telephones, computers, air conditioners, printers, cameras, batteries, etc.) in contribution to Eco-Batt Energy Cambodia for recycling and waste separation. This collaboration aims to contribute to the protection of the environment, which the LOLC Cambodia always focuses and takes action. "A good environment starts with you, LOLC Cambodia is with you for environmental protection!"
  • Svay Rieng Branch of LOLC (Cambodia) has donated 3 bins, 2 sets of benches, as well as collecting garbage with teachers and students in Svay Rieng High School

    On the morning of December 28, 2023, Svay Rieng Branch of LOLC (Cambodia) has donated 3 bins, 2 sets of benches, as well as collecting garbage with teachers and students in Svay Rieng High School located in Srah Vong Village, Sangkat Svay Rieng, Svay Rieng City, Svay Rieng Province. On that occasion, Mr. Kong Sothy, Branch Manager of Svay Rieng Branch, made conversation with the students who participated in the event, cultivating good ideas to encourage them to pay more attention to environmental protection activities and social contribution.
  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training to communities

    In 2023, Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided Financial Education Awareness Training to communities on the topic “Income and Expense” within its operation branches for 237 trainings, which has 4,218 participants including 3,335 females. These activities have shown the contribution and focus in promoting financial awareness to its clients and communities. At the same time, LOLC Cambodia plans to continue to provide training to clients and the communities next year and will bring good lessons related to financial education as well as environmental awareness.
  • LOLC Cambodia provided last two financial education awareness training courses to communities

    LOLC Cambodia provided last two financial education awareness training courses to communities for 2023 within its operational branches. The training courses were taught to the clients and villagers about effective management of income and expenses. Mr. Chey Poch, who participated in the training, said that this lesson is valuable, which could help him to understand how to manage expenses effectively. The training courses were held on December 15, 2023, by Sustainability Management team to 29 participants including 22 females at different location as mentioned in the following: 1. Chamkar Doung village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province 2. Sdau village, Sdau commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province
  • Financial education awareness training to communities

    LOLC Cambodia, a leading microfinance institution continued its activities to delivery financial education awareness training to communities within its operational branches. The training demonstrated LOLC caring for community and society to stay sustainable businesses. The training was held on December 14, 2023, for 62 participants including 51 females in Battambang and Kampong Speu at different location as mentioned below: 1. Doun Meay village, Sdau commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province 2. Badak Tboung village, Reaksmei Songha commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province 3. Soukong village, SnamKrapeu Commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province.
  • Financial Education Awareness training on the topic “Income and Expense”

    LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers of total 49 participation including 40 females attended in Financial Education Awareness training on the topic “Income and Expense”. The focus and happy expression of participants reflected that they were interested in the provided lesson and teaching. The aim of this project is to enable them to manage their cashflow well in their daily lives. The training was conducted on December 13, 2023, at four different locations: 1. Chek Sraton village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province. 2. Angk Krasang village, Chongruk commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province. 3. Ou Da village, Phlov Meas commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 4. Ou Lmun village, Phlov Meas commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province.
  • Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided training on how to manage efficiency of income and expense to LOLC Cambodia’s client and villagers.

    On December 12, 2023, Sustainability Management team of LOLC Cambodia provided training on how to manage efficiency of income and expense to LOLC Cambodia’s client and villagers. The training was conducted at Dom Rey Slab village, Preah Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu province that 14 participants (10 females) were attended. Participant attention was reflected that they were satisfied with the provided lesson which is valuable for them to apply in their daily life to enable them to manage their income and expenses better.
  • Sustainability Management Team continue to provide Financial Education Awareness Training

    On December 12, 2023 – Sustainability Management Team continue to provide Financial Education Awareness Training to total 53 participants including 45 females of LOLC Cambodia’s clients and villagers in the 4 following villages: 1. Chi Sang village, Traeng commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 2. Svay Sa village, Traeng commune, Rotonak Mondol district, Battambang province. 3. Ta phok village, Prey Vihear commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu Province. 4. Chhrey Vea Village, Prey Vihear Commune, Kong Pisei district, Kampong Speu Province. The training provided effective management methods of income and expense to clients and villagers to enable them to manage their cashflow effectively. This is our objective for this project to raise awareness of financial education.
  • Financial Education Awareness training on how to manage income and expense properly

    The 29 participants of LOLC (Cambodia)’s Clients and villagers including 22 females attended in the Financial Education Awareness training on how to manage income and expense properly. The training was held on the morning of December 8th, 2023, and were trained by Sustainability Management team in Ta Taok Kandal village, Chan Sa commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province.

    The activities of LOLC (Cambodia)’s clients and villagers were focusing on Financial Education Awareness Training that were trained by Sustainability Management Team on December 7, 2023. The training provided significant methods on how to manage income and expense properly to 111 participants (clients and villagers) including 93 females in the following locations: 1. Peak Snaeng Chas village, Peak snaeng commune, Angkor Thum district, Siem Reap province. 2. Leab village, Peak snaeng Commune, Angkor Thum district, Siem Reap Province 3. Phka Rumchek village, Ta Yaek commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province. 4. Boeng Ngat village, Ta Yaek commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province.

    On December 6th, 2023, Sustainability Management team of LOLC (Cambodia) provided financial education training to clients and villagers in the communities to promote financial education awareness of efficiency management on income and expense. The training was attended by 154 participants (clients and villagers) including 128 women in 4 villages: 1. Kandal village, Svay Chek commune, Angkor Thom district, Siem Reap province. 2. Ta Trav village, Svay Chek commune, Angkor Thom district, Siem Reap province. 3. Choam village, Chan Sa commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province. 4. Kouk Toeng village, Chan Sa commune, Soutr Nikom district, Siem Reap province.

    The activities on December 5th, 2023, of providing Financial Education Training to LOLC (Cambodia)'s clients and villagers in the communities for 116 participants (106 females) in 4 villages: 1. Sam Rong village, Lang Dai commune, Angor Thom district, Seim Reap province. 2. Doun Ov village, Lang Dai commune, Angor Thom district, Seim Reap province. 3. Sanlaong village, Chan Sor Commune, Sout Nikom district, Seim Reap province. 4. Chan Sor Tboung village, Chan Sor Commune, Sout Nikom district, Seim Reap province. The aim of this training is to promote financial awareness to LOLC (Cambodia)'s clients and villagers about "Income and Expense management."

    On 23rd and 24th November 2024, LOLC (Cambodia) has continued its activity to provide financial education awareness to clients and villagers in its operation areas which aims to promote financial education awareness to clients and villagers to be able managing their income and expense effectively. Through this activity, it reflected that LOLC (Cambodia) pays attention to the social in order to keep sustainability.
  • LOLC Cambodia has continued to provide Financial Education Awareness Training to its clients

    On 21st and 22nd November 2023, LOLC Cambodia has continued to provide Financial Education Awareness Training to its clients and villagers of 65 participants in 4 villages who are living in the remote areas in Kampot and Siem Reap Province. After receiving the training, the participants were delighted to gain knowledge regarding effective financial management, how to spend their money in plan and needs, including how to increase extra income as well.
  • LOLC Siem Reap Branch donated 113 cases of pure bottled water to Siem Reap Provincial Hall

    In the morning of November 20, 2023, LOLC Siem Reap Branch donated 113 cases of pure bottled water to Siem Reap Provincial Hall, located in Traing village, Sangkat Slor Kram, Siem Reap city, Siem Reap province to support the upcoming Water Festival celebration. According to the above donation, LOLC has actively involved in CSR activities by distributing various gifts to the community within its operation’s area.
