    On May 26, 2025, in the spirit of supporting social initiatives, LOLC Cambodia (Takeo Branch) organized a significant community event aimed at promoting a cleaner environment. On this occasion, LOLC Cambodia (Takeo Branch) donated trash bins to the Daun Keo City Hall in Takeo Province. These bins were designated for placement in public parks along the riverbank areas where the people often come to relax, exercise, take walks, and enjoy the fresh air. This donation reflects LOLC Cambodia’s commitment to environmental protection and support for public well-being by encouraging proper waste disposal and avoiding littering, which can negatively affect the city’s cleanliness and hygiene. The activity also aims to raise public awareness about the importance of environmental protection and public sanitation. It not only helps reduce indiscriminate waste disposal but also represents a vital step toward fostering a culture of clean living and building a sustainable environment for the future.

    LOLC Cambodia (Angkor Chey branch) is delighted to have organized a meaningful community event by donating waiting chairs for patients, brooms, and rubbish bins to the Angkor Chey Referral Hospital, located in Pou Village, Phnum Kong Commune, Angkor Chey District, Kampot Province. Additionally, branch staff participated in cleaning the hospital courtyard to create a better and more comfortable environment for patients. This event, held on December 7, 2024, primarily aimed to support the delivery of public services and to foster stronger relationships between LOLC Cambodia and the local community.

    In 2025, with the support of the Management, the Sustainability Management Team continued its mission of providing financial education awareness training to clients and the others across various provinces, especially in rural areas. This training course focused on the topic of “Debt Management.” The primary objective of this training was to raise awareness and broaden financial knowledge among clients and the public, with a particular emphasis on empowering women. The training aimed to equip participants with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of debt management to help them manage their loans more effectively. The first training session of 2025 took place from February 10 to 14, 2025, with a total of 260 participants, including 199 women. Participants included LOLC Cambodia clients and villagers in the branch’s operational areas at the following locations: 1. Angk Sala Village, Sangkat Prey Angkunh, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province 2.     On March 22, 2025, LOLC Cambodia (Prey Veng branch) was delighted to donate benches and trash bins to Samdech Techo Hun Sen Kampong Leav High School, located in Eik Ream Village, Kampong Leav Commune, Prey Veng City, Prey Veng Province. This initiative aimed to support students’ education and promote hygiene within the school grounds. The event brought together 210 participants, including the branch manager, branch staff, the school principal, teachers, and students. During the event, the Prey Veng branch manager delivered insightful messages to the students, encouraging them to focus on their studies, gain knowledge, and become capable of leading themselves, supporting their families, and contributing to social development.
