Seeing its continued, stable growth, Mrs. Chanra decided to open her second coffee shop in 2023 with a third loan of USD 9,000 from LOLC Cambodia.     Mr. Teng Sam Ang and his wife are business owners who make pickled green mustard for sale in Chanlak Village, Kokir Commune, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province.

In an interview with LOLC Cambodia staff, Mr. Ravan shared that his current success is partly due to the financial support provided by LOLC Cambodia and his persistent efforts. Beginning with a small wooden store selling groceries and beverages, he always had the ambition to expand his business. In 2018, Mr. Ravan applied for and received his first loan from LOLC Cambodia to grow his business, enabling him to stock enough groceries for his store. This marked the beginning of his store’s growth. He later obtained additional loans to expand further, establishing two new ventures: a petrol station and a Wing agency, which provided additional income opportunities. With multiple rounds of financial support from LOLC Cambodia, Mr. Ravan significantly improved his livelihood. He successfully strengthened and developed all three of his businesses into stable and sustainable ventures. This support also allowed him to enhance his family’s quality of life by building a new, comfortable home for his family.
