With a far-sighted vision and recognition of market opportunities, Mrs. Sokhim expanded her farming operations by purchasing additional land, seeds, and various agricultural equipment. This expansion was made possible through continuous financial support from LOLC Cambodia, where she has accessed multiple rounds of loans up to the present time. Mrs. Sokhim revealed that in 2017, she applied for a loan of 3,000,000 riel to buy vegetable seeds, fertilizer, and agricultural chemicals. To expand her farming activities and market reach, in 2019 she took out another loan of USD 2,600 to purchase farmland for agricultural expansion. In 2024, she continued by buying additional farmland and applied for a loan of USD 13,000 to further expand her farming activities. This support enabled her to acquire sufficient farming equipment and improve her irrigation system.By using the loans purposefully, Mrs. Sokhim's family’s livelihood has notably improved and developed. Today, she can supply high-quality vegetables to the market, contributing to the enhancement of local agricultural productivity. “I’m truly satisfied with the financial support from LOLC Cambodia, which has transformed my family's livelihood and made my farming business more stable and prosperous,” expressed Ms. Sokhim.
    Mrs. Tha Chanthea and her husband, Mr. Thai Khoeun, are mushroom farmers and owners of a rubber plantation located in Kol Village, Rokapram Commune, Tboung Khmum District, Tboung Khmum Province.

    Mrs. Chanthea and her husband are hardworking farmers who are dedicated and committed to their business. Currently, in addition to cultivating and selling mushrooms and growing rubber trees, they also work as hired laborers tapping rubber trees. The couple has been engaged in mushroom farming, rubber cultivation, and rubber tapping for the past five years. In an interview with LOLC Cambodia, Ms. Chanthea stated: “Since our family was not yet financially well-off and we wanted to increase our household income to improve our living conditions, my husband and I decided to take out a loan from LOLC Cambodia to invest in expanding our mushroom business and rubber plantation. With the first loan, I applied for USD 5,000 from LOLC Cambodia in 2022 to expand mushroom cultivation and purchase more land for rubber planting. In 2023, I applied for an additional loan of USD 8,000 from LOLC Cambodia to build our house. I later applied for two more loans in 2024 and 2025 to further expand the mushroom business and purchase additional farmland.” Thanks to financial support from LOLC Cambodia, Ms. Chanthea and her husband have been able to cultivate high-quality mushrooms and meet customer demand effectively. Her mushroom business has grown rapidly and attracted more customers. At the same time, her rubber plantation has been operating smoothly as she now has sufficient financial resources to further expand her business.
    Mrs. Mao Chanthy has transformed into a successful restaurant owner, gaining widespread support from customers after using a loan from LOLC Cambodia to expand her business.

    Mrs. Mao Chanthy is the owner of the " Mlup Chheu Teal" restaurant, located in Kampong Trach Village, Kampong Trach Commune, Romeas Haek District, Svay Rieng Province. She shared her business success story spanning 17 years. Initially, due to her talent and culinary skills, she began as a small-scale soup vendor within her community. Over time, her soup business gained more and more customer support, leading Mrs. Chanthy and her husband to plan to expand their business to meet the growing customer demand. However, a lack of capital remained a significant obstacle in their business expansion journey. After completing the new business premises, Mrs. Chanthy transformed her small soup stall into a restaurant offering a variety of dishes, customized packaging services, and ample space for customers. Through the two loans from LOLC Cambodia, Mrs. Chanthy's business not only grew significantly but also improved her family's living standards and increased their income. She emphasized, “The loan from LOLC Cambodia has genuinely uplifted my family’s standard of living and helped my business thrive. It also enabled us to accumulate wealth by purchasing land to build our restaurant.
    Mr. Phai Sophon is currently a teacher at Thma Puok High School, where he has dedicated 14 years to his profession. In addition to his role as a teacher, Mr. Sophon serves as the principal of the Language and Technology Center, located in Thma Puok Village, Thma Puok Commune, Thma Puok District, Banteay Meanchey Province.

    Mr. Sophon shared that his center focuses primarily on strengthening student discipline to foster good morals and ethics.
