To support the rapid growth of our operations, LOLC is recruiting the
following position:
Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Specialist
Main Responsibilities:
- Asist to develop and maintain the company’s Business Continuity strategies and frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements related to business continuity as well as international standards (e.g., ISO 22301, Guideline of DRI International).
- Assist in the annual and change-driven review of the Risk Assessment (RA), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and Business Continuity Plan (BCP), while collaborating with relevant business units to develop, test, and update.
- Develop awareness programs and training for head office and branch staff on BCP.
- Coordinate regular BCP drills such as desktop drills (tabletop exercises) and simulated drills (e.g., call-tree drill, evacuation drill, continuity of operation drill, mock press conference…) to test preparedness.
- Maintain documents, prepare reports and presentations for management as well as auditors.
- Support incident response and crisis management activities during disruptions.
- Liaise with IT, facilities, and security teams to ensure cross-functional alignment of continuity plans.
- Review and assess third-party/vendor BCP practices as part of risk management.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Unit Manager/Chief Risk Officer.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., CBCP, ABCP, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer).
- Strong knowledge of business continuity plans.
- Experience conducting BIA, risk assessment, and continuity planning.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and training abilities.
